Ethics:-

Selective breeding have been always a debating topic because people have many different opinions about it. I believe that selective breeding in a good idea if it is for useful things like growing crops and plants things that help humans to get their daily needs of food and nutrition as the human population is growing extremely fast. I also agree with selective breeding if it is used in improving resistance to disease like breeding to remove characteristics that cause injury .example selectively breeding cattle to be without horns. Another example is the cutting of the sheep’s tale as it can be a risk factor of a sheep developing many diseases,  however


I Think that selectively breeding in animals and plants for not important thing like for example to get the shape you want in breeding dogs or to get the cute looking ones in dogs then I don’t agree with this kind of selective breeding and I think that this is animal cruelty. Also to get the different colour in fruits like the different colours of the carrots I can’t really see the point of this.
